All the local business that is fit to talk about in Tuna hits the airwaves on Tuna’s local radio station, shining a spotlight on the fine upstanding citizens and their small town way of dealing with life. Two actors portray over 20 of Tuna’s crazy characters in this “tour de farce” that is a comedy triumph with costume changes and character flips that will amaze and astound audiences.

This beguiling play about love, longing, science and invention was a 2010 Tony Award® Nominee for Best Play and a Pulitzer Prize finalist.

Based on the classic novel by Jean Webster. Jerusha Abbott’s prayers seem answered when the generosity of an anonymous gentleman, known only to her as ‘‘Daddy Long Legs,’’ enables her to move from orphanage to university. Through her grateful letters, Jerusha shares her life with her mysterious benefactor as she grows into an intelligent, independent New American Woman and discovers a budding romance with a wealthy young suitor. Yet there is one startling fact that Jerusha has yet to uncover--one that will change her life forever.

By Gwendolyn Rice; Sally Quinn, a quick-witted curator from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, travels to the Midwest in search of antique quilts for a new exhibit. But she stumbles upon something altogether more intriguing: a young woman who might provide a special connection to some rare photographs, and the renowned photographer Walker Evans. Jumping back and forth from the present to the 1930s, Rice explores the complexities of the art world, personal relationships and, above all, the stories we hold dear. Directed by Jennifer Upoff Gray. Originally presented as part of our 2008-2009 Montgomery Davis Play Development Series. A collaboration with Forward Theater Company of Madison.

Written by Conor McPherson and directed by Mark Bucher, This Lime Tree Bower is comprised of three thought-provoking and witty monologues that reveal the lives of three inhabitants of a small seaside Irish town. The three speakers cast an insightful perspective on life through the intricately crafted script.
