LEND ME A TENOR
Sunset Playhouse
7:30 p.m. | Sunset Playhouse
By Ken Ludwig. Tenor Tito Morelli is booked to perform Othello on a September night in 1934, and General Manager Saunders knows that it will be the biggest night in the history of The Cleveland Grand Opera Company. But when the boffo-voiced opera star shows up drunk as a skunk, the harried manager does what any self-respecting producer would do: PUNT! This hilarious farce is full of unbelievable mishaps, mistaken identity, and romantic high jinks.

ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE
Milwaukee Repertory Theater
7:30 p.m. | Stackner Cabaret
By Ted Swindley. Following in the footsteps of The Rep’s sold-out smash hits Liberace! and Nobody Lonesome for Me, comes the true story of country music legend Patsy Cline’s remarkable friendship with devoted fan Louise Seger. Filled with two dozen unforgettable hits – including “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Walkin’ After Midnight” – Always…Patsy Cline celebrates the life and music of one of the most acclaimed vocalists of the 20th century.

OTHELLO
Milwaukee Repertory Theater
7:30 p.m. | Quadracci Powerhouse
One of Shakespeare’s most tragic heroes squares off against literature’s greatest villain in a visceral, sexy, hard-driving story of intrigue, betrayal and vengeance, as Iago leads Othello to the edge of jealous madness by sewing seeds of doubt about his wife’s fidelity. Culminating in one of Shakespeare’s most powerfully dramatic scenes, this classic revenge tragedy comes to life in a modern and edgy adaptation set in the world of motorcycle gangs.

THINGS THAT GO DING
Skylight Music Theatre
7:30 p.m. | Broadway Theatre Center
Featuring Michael ‘‘Ding’’ Lorenz, Ray Jivoff and Jamie Johns. Featuring an unbelievable collection of vintage, vaudeville percussion novelties known as Dings Dynasty, highbrow meets lowbrow in this zany and highly entertaining show. ‘Ding’ and the ‘Not Quite Ready for the Skylight Pit’ Orchestra offer virtuosic and often ill-advised versions of works by such musical luminaries as Bizet, Liszt and Gilbert and Sullivan.

Want or Need
Danceworks Inc.
8:30 p.m. | Danceworks Studio Gallery
DPC celebrates and contemplates the last 15 years by looking inward to rediscover where we’ve been—in dance-making and in life. Joy. Doubt. Despair. Grace. Forgiveness. Aspiration. These are moments of humanity that are undeniably present and vivid in the human dancing body. They are the moments that help us to define—and redefine—what we want and what we need. One introspective and visceral work from the past—Artistic Director Dani Kuepper’s “The Gate”—will be reinvented to fit the Danceworks Studio Theatre’s intimate space and provide a framework for the concert of thought-provoking new dances that come from the gut and point to the future.
