Present Music welcomes back singer, composer and electronic instrument performer, Amy X Neuburg (www.amyxneuburg.com). She bridges the boundaries between classical, experimental and popular music with her wildly entertaining 'avant-cabaret' songs. Amy X Neuburg has been described as a one woman musical hurricane with exhilarating originality. In addition to performing with Amy X Neuburg, the Present Music Ensemble will present Steve Reich’s 2x5 and Kamran Ince’s new quartet. This performance is supported by Wisconsin Public Radio and Pridefest.
Kevin Stalheim, Artistic Director is available for interviews regarding the 2010-11 season. Present Music will launch a redesigned website this summer which will include further information regarding the 2010-11 season and guest artists.

His widow wants his final epitaph to read "Mean and Surly" while the rest of the clan deals with their loss in frantically silly ways. His eccentric family tries hard to get him to his resting place, but putting him in the ground ends up being a real challenged for this colorful group of Southern misfits.
